dsm injectors on gsr fuel rail

Default dsm injectors on gsr fuel rail

ok guys, first time doin this, how do i fit the dsm injectors onto my gsr fuel rail OBD1 clips. Is there any drilling, sanding that needs to be done? also, any suggestions on any 450cc injectors that will CLIP onto obd1 gsr clips w/o any hassel?

sorry to revive this thread but it says mods need to be made for these to work, but i also read on here some guys just have to push the injector in a little harder and they fit? just wondering...btw i got a 94 GSR

drill or grinding out the injector seals is super easy and a pretty much no brainer. a few seconds with a diegrinder works well.

I wouldnt just shove them in, you more prone to damaging them or causing leaks if they dont seal right.

I think there is a seal kit that you can get from napa that doesnt require any modification. I heard mention of it a while ago, I'm sure if you search for it you will find it.

yea i saw mention about that kit...ill look into that more too, so the only thing that doenst line up on the DSM injector is where it seats? its just too small stock?

it is not that hard at all to install them. The o-rings are a bit too small of the injectors. All you have to do is get a cheap dremel tool and grind it out. Took me 10 minutes to install them, and it was my first time as well.

now to save time for the turbo install itself, is it bad to install the injectors and fuel pump and resistor box before i go boost? i know my car was running real rich before and now i got it tuned down some with the VAFC (-10) and i was wondering if i can do that crap before turbo? thanx
