speedometer question (searched already but didn't answer ?'s)
hey guys, i've searched already but couldn't find a similiar situation like mine. my speedo goes crazy sometimes. sometimes it won't leave from zero, sometimes it will jump to 100 when i'm going 65, sometimes the needle gets looped all the way around and gets stuck behind the little needle behind the zero.
but here's the difference in my situation, when i bang on the left side of the dash on top of the speedometer, it fixes the problem, most of the time. i have taken out the cluster and checked the wirings and the circuit board on the back of the speedo but everything looks good.
i don't think it would be my vss since thats on top of the tranny and banging on the dash wouldn't fix the vss, also i have taken the vss out and cleaned the male and female connectors. but i still have a crazy speedometer.
any recommendations? thanks in advance for the replies.
