I went to the local shop and they quote me for $550 intalled these parts:

1 box with 1 kicker 12" Sub
1 Amp MTX about 500 to 700Watt
intallation and include all cable and hardwares.

I am in los angeles area and in need of a good sub system, if you know any place for cheaper, please help, thanks

doing it yourself would be cheaper.

Amp kit - 35 (4gauge)
1/2 Sheet mdf - 15
Kicker Sub - 100??
MTX Amp - 100?? (if youre paying anything over 100 for that mtx just get a clarion dpx 1000.2 on ebay. I bought 2 and there ******* amazing for a little over 100)

Might take a day to build and glue up the box and another to wire the amp and mock everything up, still thats a lot of money to be saved
