There is a screw in the armrest cup, and you also need to remove the door handle facia. After that just pull out on the bottom, there are snaps around the perimeter. Then lift it up and out.
Getting it back in can be a bitch.

1)remove all the screws (make sure you get the hidden ones) can't remember how many there were.
2)The panel is now snapped in place. start from the bottom end closest to the hinge, slip your fingers under the panel and PULL HARD. Don't worry, you'll hear snaps, but nothing will break.
3)Work your way around the entire panel pulling it off.
4)Lift the panel and slide it upwards.

On the Euro's we can just flip of the cover in front of the speakers in the doors(Just use a screwdriver to flip it of,more than enough room to replace the speakers throug there)... No need of taking of the entire door panel, unless you are going for some real serious mods... Or is the interior so different among the JDM,USDM and the EUDM?
