I don't mean what does its stand for. What I want to know is why is there a second one and what is it used for. I need to know because I want to know if this wire will be used when installing my alarm.

The only time you use that wire is in cases where you are hooking up REMOTE START or a TURBO TIMER. This wire is to keep the car running until 12V DC is electronically turned off by such devices
