b16a with sohc greddy kit, can i up the boost?

Default b16a with sohc greddy kit, can i up the boost?

heres the set up
jdm b16a pr3 ecu
hasport mounts, linkage, wiring kit

2.5 inch exhaust no cat

centerforce clutch

walbro 255 fuel pump
12:1 vortech fmu

sohc greddy kit 15g turbo
dsm sidemount intercooler
hks ssq blow off valve
msd sci ignition
msd 8.5 wires
ngk 6 series gapped at .35
running 5.5 psi of boost.


right now i am on stock injectors. will my b16 injectors be able to handle 7.5-8 psi daily driven? i really cant afford standalone or the hack with new injectors.anyone anyone? thanks again!

I think if you buy a fuel pressure regulator, and bump up the fuel pressure some you should be able to handle around 7psi no problem...

you should be fine for now.....save up for hondata and some 440's and run like 14-15psi

hows your car running with the plug gap at .35? people always say to gap them smaller.

i was responding to the guy that said he should get a fuel pressure regulator to turn up the fuel pressure not that he should keep the fmu.

don't know...i always thought bigger was better... but other people say different.

got ya, my bad. either way youre playing with fire turning the boost up with shitty fuel support mods

if your running fine with the gap you have leave it, if it starts blowing out when you increase the boost lower the gap to .030 or .028. Why fix it if its not broken?

Is the vacuum off the wastegate routed to the nipple on the compressor side? If so re route the wastegate vacuum to somewhere off the manifold or BOV and you will notice better spool and stay at full boost if you dont fall off 5.5 already.

Ummm...Correct me if I'm wrong. But arent there plugs for FI BMW's that have some type or shield around the electrode so the spark cant be blow out. I might be full of **** and please tell me if I am so I don't go around spreading the maddness...
