Default taking off rear view mirrors..how to?

how in the world do you take off the rear view mirror for g3 integra? i tried prying the cover with a little and then big screw driver but that thing didnt even budge..someone help!

yank on it, it will come off, then you could take the 3 screws off.

umm, maybe try heating it up w/ a hair dryer and then try pulling it off? See if that works.

its on a spring tensioner, if you yank on the rear view mirror it will come off, (it won't brake), realising the tension on the base, so the screw wouldm be eisier to remove. but you also need a large phillips(+) screw driver, larger than normal.

Sorry I was thinking side view mirrors for some reason b/c I have to replace one of mine. lol

Here's the diagram for the rear view. It's quite simple actually.

it will blow it away....

the fastest way is to yanking off the hole mirror
dont worry nothing will break
execpt for the safety washer when you take apart the assembly
just straighten the washer and should be good as new.

it's not hard to remove the cover, there is a place to insert a flat screwdriver blade, push it all the way in and twist.

make sure you have a big phillips for the screws or you could strip them as they are on good.
