Rear View Mirror Removal Question
When I purchased my hatch, for whatever reason, the rear view mirror was attached to the windshield EXTREMELY low, it looks like a smurf glued it up there. I would like to remove it so that I can reattach it at an acceptable level. Does anyone know how to remove the "button" that the mirror attaches to? I tried prying it off w/ a screw driver, and I tried heating it up w/ a lighter & then prying, and I also tried sliding a razor blade behind it to no avail.
TIA

lol that might work, I was also thinking about trying some fishing line. I'll see what happens. Thansk guys. Any other suggestions are appreciated. I hate having to sit so slumped down just to see. I want to be able to drive my car normally.

becareful though, you can bubble the glass/plastic in the middle of the glass. I like to get a razor and force it under the mount as far as it can go (working the whole way around it) then heat it
