new pistons?
im sick of my car burning oil and i think im gona attempt to change the psitons out me self instead of just getting new rings. my car is a 95 gsr basicly stock and im wondering if ITR pistons or some aftermarket pistons will benifit me more. before i install them i plan on getting some new rods, itr cams, sk2 IM, some head work (ie.. new valves and springs). then going with a dc 4-1 jdm header to 2.5 carsound cat and sk2 exhaut
i know this is a vague post but im looking for any info that will help me. if i should get aftermarket paisons what brand and ratios? i dont plan on messing with the block at all. (hopeing the sleves are good)
thanks guys

Dude just get some CTRs and call it a day. 12:1 seems to be a nice magic number now adays.
You will have to rehone or at least break the glaze of the cylinderwalls, so that the piston rings will seat correctly. A 15 dollar tool from craftsman and some automatic tranny fluid does the trick.
But yeah, if you are going to do it, do it all at once. I hate having to rip apart my motor over and over just to add stuff.
