Anyone heard of NEX seats and are they any good or are they like a APC or cheasy brand like that? I realize it's a shitty pic but it give you guys an idea of what there like.

 

I had one about 4 years ago.

It was a very good seat...supportive, fairly light, strong etc....but I don't remember if it's SCCA legal....but it's fine for street use

gsr leathers is good......i rode in a car with the nex seat. wasnt a big fan of them at all. i am more a fan of any corbeau seat. the a4 is probably the best seat on the market for price style etc. i would take the a4 over any sparco IMO

They look good but their construction isn't top-notch. For a street seat they will suit you fine.

 

Yeah, for cheap seats, they are a-OK.

i think the NEX part comes off, stuck on with velcro.

 

Ive sat in them before well nex seats anyways but they was the cheapest seats out there they was less then 150 and non reclinable but they look different then the one in the pic. Look on ebay they use to sell them but idk if they still do. Even though apc sucks the seats if you was taking a corner they would hold you in but then again ive never sat any sparcos

 

they look low quality, reminds me of tenzo R seats

l0l now that you mention it, it looks like my 2 year old's seat too

 

they look alright for cheap seats but i dont think i would pay no more 50 bucks with rails for those seats. sparcos are a lot cheaper than they use to be...should look into those.

Yup..me too. I got one for 200 bucks from dave421 on here and I love it!

 

I have a set of those NEX seats that we got from HAP out of a wrecked car. We put it in front of the television and use it for the PS2. It's very supportive but the foam is really thin and will hurt after sitting in it for some time. It's also not reclinable; not ideal for a street car. Recaro SRDs or Sparco Milanos are a better choice. You get what you pay for.
