Ok i just now got my DOHC ZC in my car, and it has been runnin well! But now i hear this tickin noise in the engine bay whenever im on the gas, it only does it above 3,000RPM or so. And if im not down on the gas, it will only do it at 3,000RPM and at 55MPH, not anywhere above that! IM not undestanding what it could be? I havent really dawged the engine out much!! I surely hope it isnt a spun rod bearing? What are the symptoms of that?

I live in TN, its not that cold here right now, and i dunno the timing could be off? What should I do? Should i advance it all the way? How do i adjust the valves? What about the dizzy? I know there is nothing wrong with that.

check exhaust/header bolts.... mine did the same thing... i had a nut fall off the header so there was just a bolt dangleing and it would viberate then i revved it
