i have a bolt on turbo kit its a 18g kit i want to get the most hp out of it on a stock gsr engine any ideas let know

 

well..... thats a stupid question, depends how much boost you will be actually running. they are like 170 stock right? (i dont know bseries much) and a turbo at 6 psi will maybe add 50 DEPENDING thats just a number i threw out, after testing and tuning, u might be around 120 or so. dont quote me but thats just a figure. do a search or soemthing dude

 

WAY TOO MANY VARIABLES TO TELL.....BE MORE SPECIFIC.

 

Maybe I read this wrong at first but you want to turbo charge a stock (meaning unmodified internals) b18 with a turbo? Well since you are not strengthening the motors internals you can only boost minimally. 6-7 lbs. standard = somthing like 215 to 225 with good tuning. But these guys are right... you need to give up more info for good responses.

IIRC, your estimate is actually pretty close to what I've seen of the Greddy kit numbers. Unless of course he ups the boost with a MBC or EBC which I would not recommend. I have seen some numbers as low as 200 WHP and as high as 230 WHP, all of which were with just the basic Greddy kit and blue/black/whatever box.

well i have 550 injectors and a block guard its running off a blue box at 7psi
