Well I installed GroundControls on my 01 gsr a few weeks ago and for kicks I lowered the coils low as they can go (about 2 threads left all around on the sleeve).
Anyways the install went fine I even went to a local shop to get everthing tourqued down just for safety. The first day the car rode nicely no noise just the usual rubbing on big bumps ect. Well after a few days I started to hear squeks and creeks and sounds like stuff is loose or something. So I recently raised the car back up right now its about 1 finger gap all around but yet I still hear the squeaks and noises especally at 0-5mph. Im wondering what could these sounds be? And what can I do to fix them?
My set up:
Kyb Gr2's
Ground Controls
My thoughts:
1.Thinking bushings went bad or something?
2.Put too much stress on certain bolts when "slammed" loosining them.
Thanks ahead of time. Any help would be appreciated, I dont want my car sounding like its a 89 when its an 01

it might be the hatch rattling? the car's chasis might have flexed a little bit while it was dumped and caused the hatch to rattle. as stated earlier, stuff like that is normal, yet sometimes annoying. which reminds me, i've never tried the wd40 on the hatch yet. thanks. happy holidays!
i noticed mine on my teg when i go over speedbumps slow, or out of F'ed up parking lots slow, i think its the LCA's just being squeky or the Springs themselves.

yeah i once did that also.. took my G.C coils all the way down. Lol... don't ask what happened... ill just tell you i needed a tire in a week... and no i didn't cut out the plastic cover inside the fender... my drop did it for me... mudguards.. riped off also... it looked pretty pimp... until i broke my bumper and got the flat tire... also in the freeway .. people would tell me my car is sparking.. i would exit and people would exit with me telling me to pull down my window! YOUR CAR IS SPARKING!... my exsasht was hitting the floor on tiny little bumps.. and if i would take a turn a little fast.. my front lip would hit the floor.. i wish i had pics..
well depends on what kind of squeaking...but almost all coilovers will squeak eventually...and urs just happen to do it sooner than anyone elses...like mone for example...i never knew that coilovers are doomed to squeak, but as soon as i found that out, it seemed like 2 weeks later mine started squeaking...but i have neuspeed coilovers...

Maybe Balljoint..Im thinking about actually uninstalling the coilovers in the front and see what happens. Most of the noise seems to be coming from the front.
