i just had the driver side motor mount bracket break. the bracket did not break ut the bolt that holds it to the a/c compressor bracketbroke which caused the engine to shift, which caused the bolts to come out of the side of the block. is it going to be difficult to fix? also since my a/c does not work can i take out he compressor bracket. can someone post pics of d16z6 engines that do not have a/c. thanks. chris

 

As far as I know, you can just remove all the a/c crap and use a belt from a Civic w/o a/c.

 

u dont need it u have the other three main motor mounts (someguys used only the main three)i like all five its stiffer and motor feels more solid.

if u wan t to fix it u can always heli-coil it !
