Default You Can Thank Me Later (MPFI related)...

http://www.fourthgenhatch.com/mpfi.html

I just spent several hours scanning my helms manual wire by wire to find out every difference between the DPFI and MPFI connections to the ECU. I have them listed by wire color each for DPFI and MPFI side by side and than what each one of those wires goes to/function it serves.

There is a chart on that page with it, you can't miss it. I hope this helps the MPFI hopeless.

One other thing it is good for is if you have a MPFI DX your wires are in the right spot but the colors might be all wrong. So this will help track some problem wires people have down.

And as I told my girlfriend I did this for the good of mankind because I don't think I ever saw something which seems such a simple layout of the entire ECU pins. If this saves one EF from going to the scrap heap than my work is done.

Headbolts? I have a DOHC ZC, straight drop in, no need to take anything apart.

what i did was use connectors at the ecu so it would make it easy to go back to dpfi is needed. which i found really handy since my ls motor had serious rod knock and was no good and now im going back to dpfi so im really glad i used the connectors so its really easy now. and i also did that plug thing so i could easy disconnect the added dist and injector wires

I always use OEM plugs anytime I do any wiring. I like to keep my stuff looking stock.

I'm putting in some foglights soon so I'm going to the junkyard for all kinds of OEM plugs and relays to use for it.

I agree with fourthgenhatch.
I ONLY use OEM stock, as well. It makes it harder to find everything you need and you really have to THINK more about it. Like trying to locate the right connectors and all. LOL It takes time, but it's worth it in the end as no-one can tell the difference between what was stock wiring and what I added. And the guys at the junkyards I go to, don't even care about wires and connectors, they give them away. So, it costs me nothing to use the stock wiring. Now, if I could only find a place or source for honda ecu and connector pins, I'd be set. Anyone have any. LOL

Did you solder all the connections? My car ran like *** because my injector plugs were sort of crimped onto the old ones. Than I got new plugs and solder right onto the wires from those and it has ran great.

Bogging in general could be old distributor cap, plugs, and wires. Replace those if you haven't already.
