Default mpfi swap- no codes, starts fine then stalls HELP!

hey all i've finished my d15 ---> d16 swap in my 89 dx. i have no codes on my ecu.... all connections were soldered and depinned.... well when i start it now (20 deg f temp) it stalls out when the idle kicks down after about 10seconds of running.... i've tried swapping the 2 white wires at the dizzy, but when i do it won't start at all.... so i switched them back... starts but dies when idle drops..... i swapped my tps wires.. also when i touch the gas pedal. the car doesn't rev up but just dies also.... HELP!!!

i've searched..... tried everything w/ no luck.... i thought it was caused by the vss code i had before but i fixed that.... and besides that wouldn't cause the problem anyways.....

ok now i'm getting a code 16....... for bad injector... each one is getting power though becuase i unplugged each one individually while motor was running, and each time motor would get pissed.

i use to get a code for iat sensor.... maybe i should swap it out.

seems like you may have pluged the IAT plug and IACV plug. Swap them.. did you try that yet? Maybe you confused the two and plugged the wrong one.

WHAT ECU ARE YOU USING. I THINK YOU SHOULD BE USING A PM6 NOT A PM9.

first thing i noticed from looking at the pic.. is you have your Map sensor and Evap Purge vacume lines reversed.. but i doubt thats ur problem.. u did wire in a resistor right? for the injectors?.. also what injectors are you running? they should be OBD0.. if anything.. swap out your ECU with a known good one.. it could be that.

yeah 21 and 12.. umm.. first things first.. if you have extra injectors give those a shot.. its gotta be fuel related i think.. check the wiring to your injectors.. and or replace them.. then try the ECU.. that's what i'd do

I think I know what is going on now. Fixed my friends MPFI swap. Your dashpot maybe bad. Try this, unplus the vaccum hose on #6. Goes from the dashpot to the first vaccum line on the intake mani. Start your car. If your car starts with no problems then you know its the dashpot. With the car running plug back the vaccum line for #6 in the diagram and see if you car stalls. Most likely it will because the dashpot recieves vaccum and what it will do now is apply vaccum which will close the throttle plate. All we did from there was replace the dashpot a BAM the car is now running great! Let me know if this helped you out alittle PM me or AIM me at greasem0nkey29@aol.com

so yea, removed the dashpot, car idles fine, but boggs and no power over 10% throttle, checked timing, it's set around the red mark or 1 mark from right (2 marks away from left side).
