Well,..they have arrived(Thanx Heeltoe Racing) and like I figured,..Japanese Instructions!

I've never installed Visors Period on any car,..and normally I'm game for installs but I believe I could actually Fu*k up my door w/ this one> Don't wanna do that,..the R is only 1 week old!
Anyone got these on their R? please walk me Through what I need to do,..the pictures Help yes,..but you have to peel back the seal and looks like it might not go back on very well if I do??As well as cut a 1 1/2 slit in your Door or some ****!!!
Kinda worried,..need some pointers from someone who's done it!
thanx!
btw: they are sweet as hell,..thin design as well as and Imprinted "Integra" emblem made into the plastic!!

well i have the JDM Honda Access door visors for my CIVIC.. not integra.
yes, i had to peel back the seal just to tuck the clips in the seal. but i never had to cut a slit in my door or do any damage to the door.
looks a little tricky, but once you get the clips in place under the seal..it should look a little bit clearer to you.
however, this was in my civic.. integras might be different.

pictures of) Knife,Marker, Screwdriver & a ruler
It shows a cut to be made,..but since you didn't cut yours,..I won't. See,its things like that that helps me!!
But I try to wait till a Teg owner to chime in and tell me the real Skinny!!
thanx again though!

i have the door visors on my car, they are a bitch to get on at first, but once you do one side, the other gets done quick. You have to cut some weather stripping, and maybe drill a hole, a hole that says is pre-drilled in the instructions wasent there on my 96.
It took me about 30mins for the driver side, then 10 mins for the passenger side. I didn't drill a new hole either, just put in the clips and let the stripping hold it in place. I lined them up perfectly, then one night at a party somebody tried to steal them and they have been missaligned since, i could never get them to fit right again.

Ok, here we go.
First off, you WILL have to make slits for the DC chassis. EK's I guess you don't and EG's you do. I've installed these for the DC/EG's and I had to make slits both times. Just FYI, the weather stripping costs ~50 bucks to replace so don't do this yourself if you have butter fingers.
There are around a total of 5 slits that you will have to make, one for each of the clips, I think 3 or 4 down the arch of the door frame and one on the vertical part where the "Integra" is printed on the visor.
Line the door visor up to the weather stripping and use a pen and mark where the screw holes need to go. Make a horizontal slit there, not more than 3/4's of an inch wide. This is where your metal clips will stick out so you can screw the visor onto. After all the slits have been made you can peel back off the weather stripping, not completely, just enough so it hangs down like it does in the instructions. This is the only use for those crappy instructions, pictures. Just figure out which clip looks like what. The squiggly looking C clips will be the one's sticking through the weather stripping and the small flat pieces with a lip on them is what holds the C clips in. I suggest using the little grey foam pieces they give you, it ensures that the door does not get scratched but also it prevents the clips from moving. Now, where you see this little flat piece with the lip, this is where you're going to have to make the cuts to the weather stripping. Imagine the weather stripping going where the flat clip goes and youÂ’ll see where the rubber lip catches the door frame. You'll have to just cut out that particular area, nothing more, so you can make room for the metal clips back there. After making the cut, you should be able to see into the insides of the weather stripping, like a hole. The cut shouldn't' be more than the width of the clips. You should end up with some VERY small pieces of your weather stripping. After this you can just push it back into the frame. Now you have your clips sticking through your door.
That will take care of about 2 of the clips. The kit provides you with two screws to use to hold the clips in. From what IÂ’ve seen/heard there is only one screw hole in the doors from the factory, I guess it's a US thing. Like in the post earlier in this thread, the guy only used 1 screw, I'm assuming it's for the clip at the top of the arch of the door frame. The very bottom one I just let the clip in without securing it, it's not going to move.
Finally the last clip near the "Integra” printing. I suggest you use the template they give you, that little cardboard paper, it's very helpful. Just use that and make the mark about 6mm vertically and slit it in the middle. Be sure not to slit it too far to the wrong parts of the stripping. After this you can put in the clip and use the little push pin to secure it.
I know this thread is worthless without pictures, but please remember that what I've written is off the top of my head. I know they are VERY vague instructions. If you have questions, PM me and IÂ’ll try to help you out.

Well that def Sheds some light on it!GREAT Right up,..yes Pics of it would be great!
I thought maybe 1 or 2 slits,..not all four in 1 side,.so mine would have probblay flown off! I haven't tackled it yet,..but now I think I will give it a try.
1 question though:
SO once the slits are made,.the clips should be able to pop through them right?,..NOW,..what holds the clips to the door itself? The Seal holds them in?
So just pop the seal back on once the everything is done and thats it?
If so I could see how that would probblay hold them good,..but just wanna make sure!
The INTEGRA thing you got me,..I don't understand that part (Sorry)
,..I guess if you remembered what clips (letter wise) go where,..but its cool. Not meaning to be pushy. You've def gave me the will to try it.
But honestly,.I would pay to have these put on.They we;re expensive for DAMn Rain Visors & I wanna make sure i don't jack up my damn door or lose them!. I just wish I knew a place to do it,.or even someone that could rad Japanese to do it better then I!
Thanx Yellow Blur! That did help alot!
