Anyone ever get a high-pitched squeeking sound when engaging the clutch?

It's really wierd and I have no idea what it could be. It only happens when I shift into 2nd or sometimes 3rd and engage the clutch (usually downshifting, sometimes when upshifting into 2nd or 3rd). I think it usually happens when I engage the clutch right around 3K RPM, and if I engage just a bit slower than normal, there is this high-pitched squeeking sound right as the clutch disc touches the flywheel. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is it a problem?
Here's an example:
Coming up to a stoplight in 4th. I'm slowing down w/ the throttle closed (not braking or anything). The light turns green while I'm still going 15-20 mph, so clutch in, downshift to 2nd, blip throttle up to about 3K RPM, clutch out, and right as I let pedal out, I hear this *squeek* just as the disc touches the flywheel. For the life of me I can't figure out why it would be making such a sound but it sure is annoying sometimes.
I should add that I have a Clutchmasters Stage 1 clutch and Clutchmaster 7.5 lb flywheel, both with almost 20K miles on them. This sound has been happening for maybe 5K miles or maybe a little more (past 2-3 months).

I don't think it's a problem. It happens to me too. I haven't noticed any decrease in clutch grippage, but it is annoying to hear that sound. I have an ACT hdss clutch and fidanza 7 lb flywheel with about 20k miles as well, but I had the problem a while ago, and now it's gone. I just needed to do a couple of high-rpm clutch slips to clean off the friction surfaces
Has happened too me for over a year.
I think it has to do with not enough grease on the fork that moves the TO bearing.

that's exactly what it is. I forgot to regrease the fork when I did my clutch. And it squeeked a little bit. So I peeled the boot back and hit it with some lithuim grease for a minute. Problem solved.

Hmm I know what you're talking about, mine used to do that with my old clutch, it's kind of a squeek/groan that you can kinda feel in the pedal when you press or release the pedal, right?
Well this isn't what I'm getting. My problem is a high-pitched squeek that only occurs right around 3K rpm, right when the disc touches the flywheel. It doesn't happen when the car is off since the flywheel and clutch obviously aren't spinning.

yeh i hear that same annoying high-pitched sound if i dont rev it at 3k or higher. i have a ACT 4puck clutch and one of the guys at act told me it makes the sound because i have an unsprung clutch which means from stoplights for example, i always gotta give it alot of gas. on my car it makes that noise in 1st 2nd and 3rd if i rev it kinda low. eh, hope my story helps in any way

Hrmmmmm well hell Patrick, it's kinda hard to say unless you pull the tranny or at least the clutch inspection plate to see what's going on. Friction sucks.
You replace the pilot bearing? Just a thought. But I honeslty dont know but it could be one of those things that'll eventually just go away.

Yeah, my squeel is definetly when the clutch is pushing against the FW. It only lasts until I fully let out the clutch.
Oddly enough it is much worse when it is cold out.
