I bought the craftsman ohv spring compressor for imports but it just wouldn't work. the 2 claws dont fit between the springs and the thing that suppose to compress the retainer looks like kind of like a pithfork is too wide. oh this is the screw down type.

what brands do you guys prefer? Or style? what other tools will I need?
