92 Vx hatch Swapping from SOHC 1.5 vtecE to 1.6 d16y8 obd1 too obd2???? need help
i got a 92 VX hatch
i got a 98 d16y8 motor complete but i wanna know what i got to do since its a obd2 and my car is OBD 1
what do i have to do to get this thing running right????
get a ECU from a 96-00??? or what if any 1 knows or can help me please let me know. thanksSSS

If your asking if you need the 96-98 ECU, you will also need.
An entire 96-98 EX wiring harness, and another O2 sensor.
Plus someone to help you who knows what they are doing.

theres no way i could use my VX harness sinces its already vtec cause my friend used his on a d16z6 swap but thats a obd1 so does it make a diff???

You also need to add wiring for the 2nd O2 sensor and the knock sensor.
UNLESS, you convert the Y8 to OBDI.
