doesn't your vx iacv fit on the y8? i was looking at a 95 dx engine today, and it looked like my y8 iacv would fit on perfectly. no idea about the o2 though.

dude get a different transmission,

the vx is one of THE worst you can get,
its made for saving gas, and thats the #1 concern with its design.

get y8 or z6 tranny wwaaaaaay shorter gears, way quicker,

even a dx tranny is alot quicker than that.

I think you also have to change the injectors or rewire the injectors.

because its a SOHC VTEC... may not be much, but with a lil bit of money (boost or NA) its cheaper and faster then swapping... thats why!!!

Fear the single cam foo....

the engine is in, and she runs, i have one problem tho, the idle air control is not hooked up because mine is a two wire, while this motor has a three wire, do any of you know which wires to connect? besides that she runs fine, little slow at low rpm's cuz theres no cat and its basically a straight pipe, but it pulls after 5 like crazy. i need a ecu to rev higher also.

yah i put a 98 ex motor in my 95 lx coupe.. everything hooks up fine, you have to do a OB1 to OB2 switch over, yah its better to have a y8 tranny too.. overall swap is easy to do,

The redline should be 6800 and the rev-limiter at 7600 the v-tec cross-over should be 5500 ... Other than that I have no swap info I just heard you should go with obd2 to obd1 conversion ...
