all motor gurus what you think about this....
11.8 compresion toda C in the intake side and B on the exhaust side, will it make good H.P. dont like the idea of both cam being the same, most of the aftermarket cam that make good numbers are bigger in the intake and smaller in the exhaust...thanx in advance
Toda doesn't make ****. I am sure there is rediculous ammounts of R&D that goes into their products. I am pretty sure if that setup made more power, they would sell a set of cams that way.
The only time I ever hear of people doing what you are talking about is when people run CTR intake/ITR exhaust... because CTR/ITR exhaust cams are the same... Or when someone runs a mild aftermarket cam, combined with the ITR exhaust, because the ITR exhaust cam is similar specs to whatever mild aftermarket application. Even then, I think the reasoning is more budget, than performance oriented.

Most intake/exhaust cams are different. You can see the specs for just about all of them here. http://forums.clubsi.com/showf...art=1
However my train of thought on this topic is that Toda doesn't strike me as the kind of company to say "eh, thats good enough," especially on one of their high end cams such as the C's. I could be wrong... but I really doubt this would slip past the R&D department at Toda.

somebody post a dyno chart like a two weeks ago there were making this kind of set up with a big bore motor and there were making like 240 hp to the wheels....but he never told the exact combination of cams (he didnt want to tell) but who knows im giving it a try ........thanx any way......
nothing wrong with this at all. It won't make more power than the saem motor with a C on the exhasut side as well. but it won't hurt and who knows maybe it will have a positive effect on how the power curve looks, I for one imaging your torque curve with a B cam on the exhaust side would look more broad and useful. Try it out and let us know what you find out.
