93 integra stupid swap question

Default 93 integra stupid swap question

i did a b16a in my 93 integra i used the factory harness but the clip for the oil pressure sensor broke off , i was just wondering if that was really needed , and would that make your motor rub all jacked up . because wright now timing is correct and it seems like if i have no power untill like around 5 grand in vtec like if its heasetating between 2grand and 4 grand, and on a down shift it goes no where untill like aroung vtec. i would really app.

What ECU are you using?

Now you say you broke the clip that connects to the oil pressure sensor....I would just hook another clip to the wire, and reattach it to the sender.

I dont even have mine connected. I am running a b16 in an EG. I am using a manual Oil Pressure gauge. I had to diconnect my sending unit, so the connection is just hanging. My car has no problem with the VTEC kicking in. I also had to disconnect my light in the cluster, since there is no reading, only a gauge to warn me.
