Top Fuel Power Neo?
Anyone know anything about this? Does it really work or is just JDM bling?
TOP FUEL POWER NEO - JDM EXCLUSIVE -
Top Fuel's revolutionary Power NEO increases horsepower and torque. The Power NEO installs within minutes and works by magnetically charging and rearranging the fuel molecules before it is mixed with the incoming air. The end result is a cleaner and stronger burn, horsepower and torque levels are increased. This device can be seen on Top Fuel's DC5 Integra Type R(RSX to us) and was featured in the August 2003 issue of Super Street.

i am looking at super street issue aug. 2003 as i write this, and the article says that it gave a 5 hp gain,i dont know if that is across the board or peak. wether their is any real truth to that i dont know. that was also on a stock dc5r motor.
my mother told me you cant believe everything you read, or is that what you see on tv.

Crap,
How is a magnetic field going to effect fuel? and how would rearranging fuel molecules be beneficial?

All i have to say:
FUEL IS NOT MAGNETIC.
All magnets do is align MAGNETIC domains in the three materials that are CAPABLE OF BEING MAGNATIZED, IE Iron, Cobalt, and nickel. If something doesnt contain any of those 3 subtances, MAGNETS WILL HAVE NO EFFECT UPON THEM. It's the same kind of bullsh*t as healing magnets, pain relief magnets, bladeblah. You'd be amazed at how much bullsh*t you can avoid buying if you take a high school equivalent physics class...
So, if a liquid made up entirely of hydrocarbons, IE hydrogen/carbon molecules, which are certainly not magenetic substances, then what effect will a magnetic field have upon them? The answer is jack-sh*t. Magents dont "charge" anything with any mystical special energy, and their not some amazing miracle of science.

alright, here is how it works
basically, its just some magnets that are put together with some fancy plastic and fancy name
So the fuel we use in our cars is made up of molecules (trip back to highschool). The molecules however are ion, therefore they have a charge. In regular circumstances the fuel will be all mixed up and everything. When u magnetise the fuel it will straighten all this out into a uniform set for more complete and efficient burning.
So basically... go out and buy some magnets and duct-tape them to your fuel lines and you will have an equally good effect for 2 dollars and 2 minutes.

Umm, yeah magnetism acts upon all matter, regardless of wether or not it is ferrous. Having said that, I dont see how any of these fuel saver gimmic things actually do anything.
