How does my clutch/flywheel look?
ya flywheel looks bad .........i dunno if resurfacing it will help for the clutch and pp replace it since its out anyways.............that **** is warped.....pretty bad.
I have seen a lot worse.
The flywheel shows cracks, which is a scary proposition. It is a time bomb and should be replaced. BTW, we now have XACT flywheels available which will get you the best quality (oops, I guess I am partial) and save some cha-ching over any competitors flywheels.
The pressure plate shows some pretty good hot spots but as long as it is fairly flat and there are no cracks, you should be fine. It also looks fairly old, before we were using ductile iron and certifying them to SFI specs, but it is hard to tell for sure fromt the photos. Any cracks in a gray iron casting would be a big concern.
I don't know what the disc measures but they start off at .315" thick. They can last all the way to about .240" thick.
