i have a viper car alarm... no idea which one because i bought the car with it... but the alarm will go off about 20-30 seconds after i lock the car and will not turn off... i just want to disable it for now and i will fix it later... i do not want to have to leave the car unlocked at work tomorrow... please help

 

put it in valet.... underneath the dash is either a push-button switch or a toggle switch, turn the car to ignition and then off and hit the switch it should turn the security led solid red, newer vipers allow you to do this from the remote with a the dirver's door open press button I then II and then I again and it will go into valet...
buttons I and II can also be a lock/unlock and aux button....

that will let you lock the doors, but the alarm will not be on
it will keep your buggy locked until you can get it serviced
