Odd CEL, Once boosted and with the Hondata, i get a ELD only when...

Default Odd CEL, Once boosted and with the Hondata, i get a ELD only when...

once i was boosted and had my hondata s200b, when i drive atleast 60mph and then sometime later i slow down to stop or merge or whatever, my check engine lights comes on and i check it and its 22. Electrical Load Detector. car runs fine after that. I shut the car off and restart and im clear till i go over 60pmh and slow back down, help please! got a obd1 1992 integra LS

from what i understand you have to disable the ELD with hondata cuz your car doesnt have an ELD...i think they came on the 3rd gen integras

Disbale the ELD in your ROM.

thanks, so if my car doesnt have an ELD, then how would it throw the code anyway?

its the ecu that your using...the ecu is looking for a ELD but your car doesnt have one so it thats why your getting the code... that happened to me when i went from a p28 to a p72

i am using my stock ecu, but hondata chipped it, so i dano whats up

Bingo. You need to have someone disable this in the Hondata ROM. Problem solved.
