Well after about a 4 hour drive. ITR 310 and I parted ways. I met with Collin(Mr.Fairlady) last night and he took ownership.
I got one lst spitited drive before it was all said and done. It was sad when i went to the garage today and my spot was empty.
Hopefully some day when money is right i may be able to afford another one.
I am sure it went to a good home.

WEll,.I'm the new owner of ITR 310!Been on H-T for a little while
Its about damn time if you know how many cars have gotten in my way to finally get an ITR period!!!

w/ every car I've had,.I've really wanted an R almost bought a 98 2 years ago,.almost bought(RStoR's old) PY ITR #510 1 year ago,..etc

That drive was HELL!!!
5hrs there(took 1 hr to get out of Charlotte)
4hrs back stopping 1 time!

Had a blast down the mountain!!!!
OH YEAH,.I almost forgot!@!!
SO I'm about 1 hr(Not even the owner of the R 1 day and I get the "S.O.B's" that wanna race me) into the drive in VIRGINIA,..a Blk EG Hatch w/ Si wheels,exhaus,etc,etc pulls up next to me( w/ 3 deep in the car) and I hear a "pssssh" from the car although very faint? HAD a license plate that said "your Done"

My girlfriend is in my ear on my cell tellin me to race him,..I'm like "hell no I just got the dame thing,.I'm not gettin a ticket or wreckin on these Slick mountain roads for this ***" + I hate Street Racing

SO hes eggin;' me on gassin it but not lettin off to give off his Turbo so I don't do anything,...he then gets up more and makes me get beside him again.
I see his gauges in the window and by that time I Heard theh Blow off FOR real!! So I'm like damn,...he would hand me my ***(or should have thought)

I hang up the phone & down shift to 4th (& chill) @ about 65-70mph
I tap the gas to let him know the deal,..and try to make him go first.

He Hits it,.I hit it,...he falls back a tad and I'm almost @ I guess about 7500-7800 Rpms,..he switches gears & "pppppppppsssssssssshhhhhbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa wwwwwwwwwww"

Sounded like he Blew his damn motor.
Missed a gear and the most god awefull sound came out of that Car!!!
It was hilarious!!He I guess didn't but he fell real far back behind in traffic!

*SOrry mods about the "Kill type story" but it had to do w/ the subject!*

Anyway!!! THANX again!!! and Its fun to finally put faces w/ people on H-T.
Can't wait to meet some others when and if it ever goes down!

Indeed. That is just the first of many encounters you will have. Just be safe and learn the car. You have many tracks and great guys that live in your area. Ex. Willard, Jack, etc.
