Default Hondata people please help look at my maps

anyways here is a post from a couple of weeks ago that describes my problems and i was wondering if someone with romeditor can please look at my map and tell me if anything is out of the ordinary I got the .bin file thanks to soundeffects

here is the previous post with my problems

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=694585

here is the *.bin file

http://hometown.aol.com/atp003...g.jpg

i could only post it as a *.jpg so you will have to right click and save as

then you have to rename the file as a *.bin

with that *.bin file i dont think it is the renaming that doesnt work i think it might be the actual bin file, but i was over at SOUNDEFFECTS house and he pulled the map from the chip that secret services tuned and he couldnt read it with his version of romeditor, but in winhex it looks like a hondata file

could it be a bad burn???

I haven't looked at your BIN file yet, but taking a look at the 2 big differences between the 2 dyno and AF plots, are you sure you don't have an intake leak?

My theory is there's an intake leak, and since you've never tuned the maps at all, the 0-2psi plot is sitting at 14.7:1 AF. The reason why things haven't blown up yet is because EGT's would be a bit high at that AF, but not high enough to blow stuff up. Optimal target A/F for 0psi is 13:1 so you're not TOO far off.

What does the boost gauge show?

The car was originally tuned by vaportrail from this board, i don not own romeditor so i did not change a thing with the ROMS so shortly after leaving johns shop my car didnt feel like it really had 175 ft lb of torque it felt stock, so i just blew it off and figured it must just be me. I then stop driving the car cause i was issued a company truck and now that i have some time off work i decided to check what was going on, hence the second dyno graph

anyways i had a h-t member look at my rom and it wouldnt pull it up in romeditor gave us an error, but we read the chip over and over and all it would say is chip read OK. He also tried to burn another chip with a basemap on it just to see what would happen. Well of course it ran like ****, but there was a CEL with the new ROM and there was no code to be pulled. So we put back in the old rom.

I read the old post too and it sounds like there something wrong with your ROM.
Can you get this HT friend of yours to read the chip and burn it to a new chip.
I also read something about people not being able to read the bin file.

There is a possible failure in the chip and it stil can say that read is OK, like any other memory there can be parts of the chip that are corupt.

Let's say you put the chip in the car and drive around and the chip dosen't sit 100% in the socket, that could lead to alot of bad things.

Just trying to help
