HELP... Looking for Rods for LS/VTEC
Sorry to bring this back to life but Is there a huge difference between the LS rods and the GSR when still using lets say b16 pistons?
I hear that the LS stretches?

LS/VTEC and GSR crank, I got lost somewhere in between, someone please explain.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah using a gsr crank for an ls/vtec is pointless. its just a gsr then. the whole point of the ls/v is the longer stroke of the LS crank. and the ls rods do not stretch, supposedly its the rod bolts. thats why i am going with arp on ls rods. for my measly 200+ hp setup the ls rods with arp rod bolts should do fine, so i am told.

Well if you are set on using B16A pistons then if you use an LS crank use LS rods beit aftermarket rods or if not upgrade the rod bolts on the stock rods
Same goes for GSR. Use GSR rods.
If you really wanted to you could get custom pistons and rods made to help out your r/s ratio but who cares?
