Default anyone using gsr rods in their ls vtec?

i think they are a few hundreths of an inch longer than ls rods, i would like to hear from those who have them in their ls vtecs, and what pistons are you using? thanks.

GSR rods are .036" longer than LS rods. LS rod is 137mm, GSR is 137.9mm, 0.9mm is very close to .036". On a stock B18A/B block your pistons would stick out of the block by .006". That would make for some interesting measurement checking to ensure that there would be no collisions between parts.

Now that I think about it, the only way this would work, is if you used the GSR crank, because the main journals on the GSR crank are narrower than the LS, and if you tried to use the GSR rods with the LS crank, you would have 0 psi oil pressure, because there would be too much clearance between the side of the GSR rod and the LS crank.

Now if you used the GSR crank, you would have GSR displacement, and it would'nt really be an LS/Vtec (extra 37cc displacement), but more like a cheapo GSR/ITR.
