Default Just painted my car

I heard when you paint a car you have to wait a month before you wax it because the paint has to seal. Is this true? I heard you can't wax it as it using waxes that contain carnuba that protect the clear coat? But polish is fine becaue it is just oil that feeds paint....Is this true?

What you're trying to do is wait for the clearcoat to harden.

Polishes would have any affect on the clear coat right? Because that is just oil for the paint.....it doesnt put a layer over the clear coat like carnuba right

Just leave it for a while. Nothing is going to happen in that amount of time.

repeat after me, "cure", not crue. "cure"

anyway, yes most people say to wait at least 2 weeks before getting it wet, and 2 months before waxing.
