Default B18C increased displacement & hight reving

Ok, I searched and I can't find any good answers to my question. I have a ITR engine and I just spun a rod bearing. Since the crank is garbage I was thinking about stroking it with a b18b/b20b crank, but my question is how will this effect my reving capability??? I still want to be able to rev the engine to 9500rpm without any problems. Or would it be better to just resleave the engine to 85mm bore? Or maybe do even both for max dispalcement??? Please keep in mind that I will be doing a lot of lapping days and running the engine at hight rpm levels for extened periods of time ( 1-2hrs). Any help is greatly appriciated.

its not that easy just to throw a b20 crank in there (you may know this). I'm not sure on the specs but you may have clearance issues with the pistons and valves. To stroke an engine alot must be done and taken in to consideration.

I'm sure you know this...but just in case you didn't I hoped I helped.

keep in mind, higher R/S ratio usually means lower redline.

Yes... I know that guys... but thanks for pointing out. This is also why I am leaning toward a b17 bored out... but I really don't know what is the exact difference between a good r/s ration and a bad one. I mean... the b18c has a 1.54 r/s ratio, but you can still spin it to 9500rpm, so how will this improve if your r/s ratio would be 1.66:1??? I just don't understand.

@ 8k-10k you have other problems to worry about rather than your r/s ratio.

Ls crank will be fine, just run all NEW ARP bolt, stretch the rod bolts to spec.

Micropolish the crank w/ new bearing and all of course.
