Door Lock
My driver side door lock, does not lock itself when I alarm the car. The interior door lock peice trys to move to the lock position, but it gets stuck and doesn't lock the door.
What is the problem and how do I fix it?

do u mean like when the door is open? cause i dont have keyless or anything but u cant lock it from inside, only unlock unless the car is on, or somethin, so u dont lock your keys in your car.
I have the same problem. I've been told to lubricate the lock mechanism, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
On a side note, it would work perfectly fine on some days. Other days, I have to manually lock it when the alarm arms. Also, I only have this problem on the driver's side. The passenger side locks without hesitation.

I have an alarm. When I get out of the key, I arm the car with a keyless remote, and it should lock all doors. Right now, when I lock the car with the remote, the drivers side door actuator does not move over, it gets stuck, thus the door does not lock. The passenger side and hatch door all lock though.

Same experiences with working on and off. I will try to lubrcate the lock. I pulled the doors off before and the lock rods are not bent or anything.

Yes it does. I'll try to get pics and video of what it does.

have you done any changes to the door panel? like taking it off or putting new door handle bezels on?? I had the same problem because the lock switch was rubbing against the bezel. you just have to file or shave the area down a little if that is the case.

Can't help you, but mine does the exact same thing. It also doesn't unlock when I use the remote.
One of these days I will try lubricating the lock mechanism.
Cheers,
Roy
