well at the moment im putting the shield wire you guys recomend me using for my knock sensor wire.. i hooked it up.. i use the clip to short down the blue plug hangin next to the ecu... turn the keys to on.. CEL lights up still and doesnt not blink or flash... when pin is taken off the blue plug.. and key is on... no CEL.. is there still something wrong that the CEL is still on wen the pin is in the blue plug?

Nope i don't think so it should be fine I reset my ecu last night and put that pin in the little plug and it just lit up like you are talking about

Doesn't that mean there's no codes?

 

ok.. i jus got bac for a test ride.. the CEL came back up.. got home.. put the pin in... knock sensor came back up... but i didnt reset the ECU yet.. i just did now only... will it make any difference?

about shield wires... the beginning is grounded.. does the other side need to be ground also? or can just one side just be only?
