I had a little mishap, and gave second a grind. Should I change the transmission fluid now?

I ask because the grind has me thinking about metal particles floating around in my transmission. I don't know......Should we change our transmission fluid after grinding a gear or am I being to paranoid?

 

I think that you are being a little paranoid However if you are concerned, you can always get one of those tranny drain plugs with the magnet on the end.

 

holy chit man your way too paranoid. you prob rebuild your engine when you hit the fuel cut off. your transmission is fine.

 

lol thanks. Do local auto shops carry magnetic transmission plugs? I believe I saw oil before. I don't want to pay jacked up prices for a jdm name. BTW, the transmission has an internal magnet right?
