where is the head gasket??
My car is overheating i kinda ruled out all the rest of the reasons that it could be overheating and came to the conclusion it was the head gasket. Could someone post a pic of where the Gasket is located?? or maybe explain it to me..
Thanks a lot

take off the entire cylinder head.....
it's between the block, and the head. it's a lot of work. gotta take off your intake manifold, exhaust manifold, cams/gears/rockerarms/plates/valvecover/bla bla ...i'm in the process of doing it now.

with that said, the head gasket is between the head and block. honestly, if you don't know how to determine these two parts, you A) need to get a manual B) should take it to a shop to get the work done.
no offense, but a headgasket isn't a good one to start learning how to work on cars.
all that said, i really don't think your head gasket is screwed, you would see some signs from the tailpipe if this were the case.
If I am not experienced with fixing my car would i even be attempting to fix a head gasket??? True i have never done work on the head gasket and that is why iam asking for advice, but i have done work to my car before. Yes ive flushed the radiater, yes i checked for leaks, yes i replaced water pump and yes there is white smoke coming out of my muffler.
This is how i came to the conclusion that it is my head gasket
Thanks for the input

I just think, from experience that this isn't really a task that one should take if you aren't familiar with how to take things apart, start small and work your way up. but if you are good at this type of thing, and want to do it, I am not one to stand in your way.

at any rate, I wish you the best of luck.
thanks bro no offence taken but i like to be challenged, I am going to go to a garage and have them see if it is def the head gasket and not something else...
if you're not experience get someone who is to do it and assist with job...don't do it by yourself...the job can be pretty overwhelmingly tedious!
