hi im looking to by a civic or crx and i found one thta has an ls swap and another that has d16z6 swap? what im asking what would be better, i want vtec but dont want do the ls/vtec thing and want to eventually turbo the motor and ive herd of some insane sohc turbo cars. but before say go with the ls you gotta remember that the d16 makes only like 10-15hp less and there still is the zc swap and that would be a good swap but hard to find parts for. im looking for the cheapest way to gain some serious hp. i think that im leaning more towards the d16z6 because its lighter and get better mpg and its just a direct bolt in pretty much? another question what do you think the best d series tranny is? is the zc the best becuase they say that its better than the crx si tranny?

 

get the one with z6 put an a6 block and you gott a mini me swap and there a good swap b/c the a6 has a very good low end
