Default Help with fuel system drag car???

Ok so far my set-up would be a areomotive FPR, a Jazz fuel cell. I'm thinking using 310 injectors with a 255 pump??? what brand of pump should I get? and what fuel filter and size are you guys running All Motor with 8-10 An lines??? Just want to buy everything at once..... anyone recomend the areomotive fuel pump? pretty expensive though. Thanks Rob

areomotive pump will be more than enough for an all motor car on gas.

if it were up to me this is how it would be.

fuel tank - filter - pump - 10an to rail - fpr attached to rail - 6an from fpr back to tank.

you might be ok on the 255 pump...get some bigger injectors though..

I like the bosch pump for an application like yours...
The aeromotive would be overkill...

Im selling a used bosch/kinsler pump too. (if you are interested)

10 an might be a little large for all motor. 8 up and 6 back should do it.

i think by the time i got done with my fuel system i had about $300 into it from just lines and fittings. this is not including the fuel rail, FPR, fuel cell, pump and filters.

the best thing is draw it out on a piece of paper. find which fuel cell ur goin to run. map out what size fittings will b needed at every location in the fuel system. i THINK (not sure) i have #10 fittings outta my fuel cell to my fuel pump, then drops down to #8s throughout the rest of the system.
go to a few of the fuel hose/fittings manufacturers websites so u know the terminology of the fittings, then u can find exactly what u need when u get ready to order. fortunately for me, i had everything mapped out perfectly and missed no fittings.

BTW im using a aeromotive FP also. works good, no problems so far.

Braided #10 line is expensive(about $95 per 15 foot). And if you use anodized AN fittings tack on about $100 more dollars if you use any angles.

Fittings: tank to pump, pump to filter, filter to rail, rail to return. That is if your fpr is on the rail, if not add two more fittings.

if you're using the aeromotive pump, use the aeromotive fuel filter, nice reusable stainless element and 10an fittings

a pointer when buying AN fittings. be sure to get "swivel" fittings, otherwise when you tighten the non swivel fittings one could be facing the wrong direction, and than you gotta take it apart and do it over to get it in the right direction, either that or turn the hose all wacky so it would fit.

yes, swivel will make you swear less, better fitment and not too mention less awkward angles/bend
