How Can I Tell?
I dont have my car with me but I want to buy a system and I wont to know if it is able to run 2 amps. Do any decks have inputs for both amps and rcas and whatnot?
Its a Blaupunkt CD50, its old I think but it was free. Its a Honolulu version.
Can anyone help me out?

no, what you need is a multi-amp wiring job. what i owuld do is run 2 guage wire through your firewall, when you get to the back seat, have a capacitor, large one at that, then a power distributor (RF, Street Wires, etc.) running out to 4 guage wires. From there run it into the two amps.
when you get your amps, they will, or should, have imput/output RCAs. just go from the first amp (input) then (output) and input into the second amp.
may i ask what kind of subs you're running, and what kind of amps you're wiring?

hmm I really dont have the money for a cap. I already have one amp kit wired and its a 4gauge. Do I need a cap do to the split youre talking about? I didnt know the rcas from one amp could just attach to the second if the first is already sent to the headunit.
Right now I dont have any amps but I wanna get 2 JBL 600/1 or 2 Clarion DPX 1000.2 Amp
Subs are on the way, Audiobahn Aw1206T.
Would I just be able to run both power wires from the battery to each amp? thats fine right? And connect the rcas form the amps?

just run the power wire to a distro block, then from the block run a power wire to each amp. then get some rca splitters to be able to hook both amps up to the same set of rca's.
So all you need to run a second amp is to:
1.connect the new rcas into the first amp? which is connected to the back of the headunit
2.run the power wire to the battery with a fuse 1foot from battery
3.4 gauge ground
4.Remote wire ( what is this for ) where does it go?
5.second amp wired to second sub
Is that all it is? I think I get it but dont know. If its that easy I may add buy 2 amps and get rid of my piece of **** Kenwood

OK so I can just splice the rcas right? That makes hella sence.
I can also splice the remote right?
Need to get all the pieces I am going to need now so I can still get deals before my bud finishes co-op at an audio place
EDIT: I just looked at the Clarion DPX 1000.2 from a local civic. It only has 2 rca imputs one for right and one for left. Were do the second set of rcas attach to?
EDIT AGAIN: Does anyone have any wiring diagram on how to wire everything with a distribution block? Im looking for a diagram for 2 amps and 2 subs if you can please
THIS IS FOR THE POWEER WIRE ONLY

Is that how a power wire is supposed to be run? Im not sure if I got the distribution block right and do the wires just tap into there?
How expensive are they?
Ive honestly went from being a complete audio noob 4 days and read for about 3 hours a night on here and am just learning so ******* much. Hating the 5 posts a day though
Does anyone even look at this forum?

If you have 4guage in the car is should be suficient for 2 amps. Bigger is better just not always neccesary. Just runt he 4 back to a D-Block in back that then Distributes 4 guage into 8 guage.
Then the best way to run a Remote wire is to use a Relay in the rear for your 12Volt switched. I have seen remote outs burn out on Decks running mutiple amplifiers.
The only thing that sucks about Y'ing the RCA's is that you will lose your fade Front to Rear if your Radio only has a single set out RCA outputs. But that is the way to do it.
And Grounds.. I do the same as I do with the power. I will run a single 4 Guage to a ground then run it into a Distributor for the Ground. Its much easier to trouble shoot and looks a ton cleaner when laid out right.
But those are a couple tips.

So my distribution block diagram was on mark? Thats how it works? No other compnents or special connections or anything?
I didnt think it would be that easy from teh responses I was reading.
Is there any special good brands?
