Default 00 Prelude on the bottle

I got a zex dry kit a while back and thought about installing it. But then people told me dry kits are BAD. So I just let it sit in my basement for a while. Recently, I began reading up on nitrous use again, and this time, dry nitrous is for beginners while wet is for experienced nitrous users. What's the deal with my dry zex kit? Should I install it? I think I am going to either way. And when I do, how many shot should I go with? 55, 65, 75? My motor has stock internals, I have an aem cai, dc ceramin header, custom dual exhaust.

Dry kits are great... dont let anyone tell you differently... especially ZEX, its good stuff.

Secondly... you have an H22A4... a very strong Honda engine that can handle a 75 shot for every now and then (seriously dont press your luck), and you can use the 55 shot all day long (or could, if it was legal).

If you dont want that ZEX kit, gimme a good deal on it, and Ill hook it up on mine.

all of that is very true, except that he has an h22a4

personally i would sell that kit and get either a NOS system or Nitrous Express. I really dont know why, i just dont trust a ZEX system.

Yea its a H22A4. I didnt crawl out from under a rock, I've been busy finishing up pre-med courses. Anyhow, I had my kit on ebay for 350 including purge kit and down tube and this dude bought it but then never paid so I guess he changed his mind. But now the dry kit rumors cleared up, im gonna put that baby on. So I would be safe with 55 right? Is 65 shot too much?

You should be able to handle a 75 shot all day long....just make sure your compression is good.

And check your spark plugs every time you switch jets/adjust timming or change your setup. It only takes 2 min to check and your spark plug condition will tell you everything you need to know about how your nitrous system is working.

I ran about 10 bottles worth of ZEX on a little ZC (mostly the 55 shot) and everything was fine.

Almost every single nitrous horror story i've ever heard was because of someone being stupid. The best one i heard - a guy tried the 55 shot, he was melting plugs with it and then out of curiosity tried the 75; guess what happened?

Zex = especially for the big bad H.

be safe get wet it may cost more, but it allows the right amount of fuel in too...and it wont over use your #1 piston. U are going to be prone to blow your motor with wet or dry, but with wet u are less likely to.

I am gonna but in here cause i have a LOT of things to help you out here....First off if you get any kit go get it dyno tuned!!!! I in the last 3 months have been thru every kit on the market...The zex was the best so far for anything under a 75 shot... N/x is junk and mike wood can kiss my ***!!! Nos dry seytups are not to bad but still run lean... My zex kit ran fine but everytime i sprayed i got the dreaded little white flakes on my plugs... I even upped the fuel still the same thing..I at one time got it running great but it ran like **** off the bottle...Save your $ and get nice all motor build or go turbo...trust me youll thank me in the end...Nitrous is for folks that have a lot of dyno time or for car shows.... All of them work fine if you only use 2or3 times..But who here is only gonna use it 2 or 3 times?....

All "ABOOT" ??? woah, are you canadian? Zex is the best for 75shot and under... why on earth would anyone argue this? Floppy head and beady little eyes... farting on each other.

Canada - I blame you for Cottonwoodz stupidity
