While driving my car today I noticed that it was having short bursts of hesitation over 7k rpms. It felt as if the air was being cut off in short bursts. The car had not been sitting for more than 30 minutes and we had been driving it for around 5min before getting on it. After a few attempts it seemed to go away, but it keeps happening. I have 22,000mi on the car currently. It is still pulling strong, but the hesitation is worrying me. Could it be bad fuel or rotor button/ distributor cap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It could be alot of things.....I will take the best guesses....
the contacts on your distributor cap are not clean...that means get another one...very cheap....
OR....your oil could be low and the VTEC is having problems over 7K...I have seen this problem quite frequently...it could be due to an oil pressure problem...probably not your problem...but possible...
check the plugs too. its not air your hearing, it misfire most likely...
