Well my winter project has started, and after reading countless threds saying the stock gauges suck i thought i better get some good ones before the stockers fail
So question 1: for the water temp gauge, does anyone know what size in diameter x threds the stock sersor is? also, its the one that has 1 push fit wire on it right, not the 2 pin with a actual connector plug
2: oil temp/pressure, well im looking for a sandwitch plate thats not greddy but will spin on and has 2 or more holes for sensors, anyone know where i can get one?
3: gauges, i'm leaning away from Autometer because everyone has them and some are pricy, does anyone have any experences with VDO gauges?
am i missing any gauges here besides speedo and tach? the speedo and tach will stay stock with a LED shiftlight so i dont overrev. oh and...
4: can i keep the stock water temp gauge hooked up along with a aftermarket one but not have to use a radiator hose adapter?
edit: POST 300 baby!

spend the money on the autometer ones, ive used vdos, autogauges, and sunpros and they dont compare in reliability. but id rather have the better product than chance it with another, and people sell the autometer stuff on here all the time for cheap, plust check the sponsor marketplace a lot of them are doing xmas specials.
