I have a 98 prelude and need to reset the ecu. I couldn't find the ecu fuse. so i just disconnected the battery and don't know if that the proper way to reset the ecu. please help. thanks

 

It works but the specific fuse is the clock/radio 10A fuse in the fuse box under the hood.

It is a 7.5A fuse

Make sure you have the code for the radio before you do it!

thanks for all the information guys. ok one more question, where is the ecu located at?

I removed the 7.5A fuse on my 5th gen for about 2 minutes.

I replaced it, and the clock was still set. It didn't reset anything. What is the proper way to do it?

 

disconnect the battery for 5 min put it back on

 

d/c battery or pull the clock/radio fuse for a few mins
