Previously my car was a 94 integra gsr - intake,dc sports headers, rs*r exhaust with a little work done on the suspension. My ride was stolen and the jackers took only the front face, they took my vtec controller but in the mist of that they cut the wires up and took the ecu - I tried to redo the wiring but no good... car won't start I replaced the dizzy they stole as well. I got an ecu but the freaking car won't turn over. So I got this engine for 2g's from a friend it has like 40k on it so it's pretty new. He wrecked the rear of his type R and it's gone, so he hooked me up with anything I need. I was thinking of putting on my 92 hatch w/ b16A11 but I just don't know. What would you do? I mean you have a running b16A2 w/ skunk2 cams, gears, type R manifold and mugen headers - runs strong. I could work on that I guess, or should I just sell my gsr motor and swap the type R in my teggy. Teggy has been sitting in my garage 8months I just got a 2k front clip as well in my color so it all works out. Anyone wanna suggest.

 

i would leave the hatch alone and go ahead and swap out the gsr motor with the type r...

sorry to hear what happened to your car. You reminded how 3 years ago theives stole my brothers 94 hatchback civic and did the same thing to his ECU harness. After we recovered it I rewired and soldered every wire back together (we swapped his stock motor for a b16). I did this with the help of the helms manual. And not trying to sound cocky or anything but the car started right up, no check engine lights no nothing. You car can be fixed and you can do it. Get the helms, and constantly recheck your work.

I would just put it in the hatch and selll the b16a you have for more money to mod the b18c and sell the gsr to fix up the hatch.\
