pr4 dist. work for y8?

hey wassup guys was just wondering if a pr4 distributor work on a y8 sohc vtec? with only one bolt tighten? thanks

yes and no. The internal "spindle" or rotating shaft has pickups at different angles than the Y8, otherwise, everything else is the same. If you can get a Y8 spindle, then you can use everything else off the PR4. Do you have an old Y8 that you can take apart?

i dont have an old y8 but i have another y8. can i just use the msd cap for my y8 distributor off of the pr4??
