Default 230 hp turbo a6

Ive been runnin 6psi with a t25 for a while now on my crx but i wanna go up im lookin to push for like 230 hp. Anyone gettin that high out of a sohc? What are you runnin for pistons(cr) and what size turbo are you usin..i dunno if the t25 i have will be big enough. One more thing at that hp wil i need to sleeve or blockguard or anythin like that.

I havent done it personally, but i know its possible. I would suggest sleeving your block, and running 8.8:1 pistons, stock bore of course, get some eagle rods, and a good head gasket that will handle the boost. And go with a zdyne, or hondata ecu and tune tune tune, I know you can get more than that out of that lil single cam. There is a thread on here that shows a civic si featured in hot rod magazine, with 480 hp out of a single cam.

Oh yah and up the boost along with bigger injectors.

Some other places to check would be turboD16.com and/or Homemadeturbo.com

I myself have heard that the stock motor would fail at around 215hp or so due to weak rods. Given that you have a tweaked fuel system and a great tune.

just like he said if you build it right itl handle it there are alot of dseries guys on here putting down way over 230 so just build it right and it'll work out.

I have a T25 and I'm plannnig on going between 6-8 lbs. how's your car feel at 6lbs? like highway driving and off the line at whatnot. thx.
