Default changing 92 LS shifter to GSR/ITR type shifter

I want to change my gear shift in my car, do I need to get the ITR or GSR gearbox & shift linkage to make mine like the shifters in those cars? The way the gearshift is positioned in those cars, it is leaning more forward than mine. When my friends GSR is in 2nd, it is in the same position as mine is in 1st. I want to know what I need to replace in order to make mine like that. Also, is there a difference between the GSR and ITR shifters? My gearbox feels real sloppy too, I want to change it out if the ITR or GSR if it will fit correctly. Thanks.

You can just use a stock/aftermarket gen 3 integra shifter. It fits fine.

So if I purchased the skunk 2 short shifter made for the 94-00 integra, it would bolt up fine? That is what I wouyld like to do if it bolts right up. As for the gearbox being sloppy, I am looking into buying some shifter bushings.

Yeah, it works fine. The 90-93 integra shifter is the same as the 88+ civic/crx shifter, and I have a G3 integra short shifter in my CRX. I like how it positions the shifter straight up when in neutral as opposed to bent back like the crx/G2 teg.

Uhmmm why don't you just buy a skunk 2 shifter for your 92? Just asking.

I couldn't find it for my car, I only see it for 94-00 integras and civics.
