short shifters feel klunky as ****, the stock shifter feels so nice, who cares if the throw is a little longer, most people don't even know what a correct shift is.

Re: gsr shifter or short shifter?
If you have a b-series the GSR shifter is a direct bolt in.
If you have a d-series the lower mounting piece will have to be modified to fit the d linkage. I just removed the brass bushing inside the shifter. cut to same size as the d and installed the stock d-shifter bushing in the modified shifter. It is shorter than stock throw and feels perfect. Oh yeah I got the Mugen bushings too.

Im running a ITR shifter with Prothane bushings on both my rides and absolutely love it! I have one on my 89 CRX B18C1 swap with avid racing shift linkage, and also my 94 hatch with D-series SOHC VTEC (modified/trimmed) to fit D-series shift linkage. Best shifter hands down!

i agree with whoever said try it out for yourself. what you might like, i might not, and visa versa. your car, your decision. there are mixed feelings about short throw shifters. but the feeling that counts is yours.

Re: gsr shifter or short shifter?
I've gone through 3 shifters now, stock, B&M short shifter (straight no bends) and a GSR shifter. Hands down I like the GSR best. Just my opinion.
