the full race proSTREET manifold is air to air intercooler compatible. full race designed the "back door" intercooler which goes directly into the air to air from the turbo. the air to liquid is for the proRACE manifold.

its not a question of whether or not its a good idea man, its how u route the plumbing to make the intercooler fit. But if u look at the positioning of the turbo in the prorace manifold, its made so direct air goes straight into the turbo, if u use say a fmic air to air cooler, it will hinder the air going to the turbo abit, thus reducing the effectiveness of having the manifold/turbo face that way.

the prostreet manifold is usually used in street cars....the prorace manifold is usually used in race cars. there are some instances where a prorace manifold has been used in a street car with an air to water IC setup. you could also use a prostreet on a race car, if you want. most of the time, its easier for the customer to run the backdoor FMIC with the prostreet, and a air/water or whatever medium you want to use with the prorace. its all up to you really.
